About Our Grocery Store
Mattoon Market is owned and operated by Ron and Carmin (Fuller) Grall. Carmin grew up in the Mattoon area while Ron grew up in the Deerbrook area. They have a home just outside the Mattoon area. The store had closed the previous June and Ron & Carmin knew Mattoon needed a store. Without any grocery experience but with lots of confidence and hard work, they opened the grocery store in May of 2011.
Their goal is to have a small town market with old fashion values and old fashion service. Mattoon Market is a full service grocery store with grocery, produce, dairy, fresh cut meat and a full service deli. Stop on In and experience the small town feel in our hometown grocery store.
